In honor of Pride Month I wanted to shine a light on Patrik-Ian Polk’s sitcom Noah’s Arc which was such a pivotal show to the black gay community. There was nothing like it at that time. It broke barriers and made way for a lot of the online mini-series you see today. The show only ran for one year but made enough of an impact to grace its fans with a movie. For those who aren't familiar, the show followed Noah, an up and coming screenwriter, and his three friends, Alex, Chance, and Ricky. Each was unique and brought something different to the show as you followed their tight friendships and crazy love lives. Noah’s Arc is definitely a show I wouldn't mind being rebooted. It was a sitcom that not only the gay community could enjoy, but it brought up universal topics and humor everyone could appreciate. Rewatch your favorite episodes now on YouTube.
