TBT goes to Tyler Perry’s A Family That Preys. This is by far one of his best films to date. The film brought a more diverse star-studded cast versus his earlier movies which probably made audiences more intrigued to watch. It was an impressive movie due to its genuine emotion filled story-line and in true Tyler Perry nature, an underlined message. The scenes between Robin Givens & Sanaa Lathan played out so well as I longed for more of their heated adversary exchanges. I also loved the bond between Kathy Bates & Alfre Woodard’s characters which seem to go beyond their roles. Truly, Tyler Perry should revisit these types of plots and themes because they ignite anticipation for future projects, especially from his “day 1” supporters like myself.
